Explore the calming and restorative Moon Sequence, created by Matthew Sweeney, as a complement to the dynamic Ashtanga Primary Series with Stacy Ingham.  https://www.stacyinghamyoga.com/

What is the Moon Sequence?

The Moon Sequence is a unique practice designed to balance the body and mind with a grounded and cooling energy. It offers:

  • No chaturangas, making it easier on the shoulders and wrists.

  • Rolling vinyasas to reset between sequences.

  • Deep hip openers, gentle forward folds, and supported backbends.

  • A nourishing closing sequence to leave you feeling refreshed.

It’s perfect for days when a full Ashtanga practice isn’t suitable, such as Moon Days, Ladies’ Holidays, or when recovering from injury or illness.

Why & when?

A full-length class to experience the Moon Sequence in its entirety, just like a Led Primary Series, but with the calming rhythm of this restorative flow. You don't need to register. Show up on time! We start the class at 7 am if it is on a weekday and 8am on Sunday's.

Workshop (registration required):

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce interested students to the Moon Sequence in a workshop setting. The workshop will include a discussion and overview of the practice. Students will be offered modifications and options to fit their own body as we move through the practice together.
